Well Mike, You never know whats in Caddo Lake! I know I contributed a few prop blades, myself! LOL The rebar seems to grow naturally in Caddo too! Us Louisianans call it sucker rod” cause, if you are the one that is privileged to get on one of those rods………youre the SUCKER that has to listen to that gut wrenching sound and pay the price as a result!!! tae73 As far as a black bottom, I love them. I have had a black bottom and my present one is a red bottom. I would less likely buy a white bottom than a colored bottom, just because they show less dirt. Both colors have seen enough stump time from Lake Fork, Caddo, and the Red River to make ya head spin and the scuff marks are few and minor. I have had some that were worse but it wouldnt matter what color the bottom was, they would still show. Like BCB and Phil said, they are pretty easy to buff out unless you get into the gel coat. I have even used black wax on my black bottom. I would definitely go with a black bottom(myself) because, it breaks the boat up great and gives it that sleek look! Whatever color you decide on, wont be a wrong choice because its hard to make a Cat ugly! God bless, Chris
