Correct the rivots are always in the lower fastner on the ones ive seen. I knew bcb used the special hardened rivot. I ve got a dozen or so my buddy had left over from him rub rail repair. I will do my own install and will be a easy install. Im sure they come with all the needed hardware. Thanks for the response!
The Rub Rail rivets are NOT Avdel and are not a sealed shank. Those are a long grip range aluminum and the Avdel are a short grip range compression rivet that is a sealed vapor resistant set on the nail head.
