Boat friendly places to stay near Mountain Home

My Caracal is at the factory having some work done. According to Richard, its likely to be done this week. Ill be coming down to pick it up. The wife and I might fish a day or two before heading back to Indiana unless its bitter cold. Probably would fish Bull Shoals or Norfolk. Any suggestions for boat friendly places to stay while we are there? It doesnt have to be on the water, Id rather trailer to a ramp to fish anyway.

Both of these resorts are within 20-30 minutes and on Lake Norfork, and both are run by some very nice people.http://www.tealpointresort.com/ http://www.mockingbirdbayresort.com/

Ive stayed there a couple of times. Shower is a little small but everything else is great. three minutes from Bull Shoals boat dock. great price too.Last edited by mcbass on January 30th, 2017, 9:24 pm, edited 1 time in total.

The two listed above are spot on for Norfork. The Bull Shoals locations are tougher as they have a different resort scenario. Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock can help on that side. BCB

If your wanting to stay in Mt. Home most the local motels are very good about being boater friendly. I was back home for a few days for a funeral and rather than being packed at families houses I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it was outstanding. The comp breakfast is pretty darned good to boot.
