Just purchased my first Bass Cat, a 2022 Puma STS! I’m coming from ChampionN and have really appreciated the ride.
I went to grease the Bob’s Marine hydraulic jack plate and discovered that the grease gun doesn’t fit on the jackplate zerk fitting because of the Power Pole mount. There is no way to secure the grease gun to the nipple. Instead all I get is a cockeyed, non secure fit.
I saw videos online where I can apply the grease by hand by moving the jack plate up and down, but that is not the way that it should be done or there wouldn’t be grease fitting. Is there a 90° fitting that is adaptable to my grease gun so that I can pump Lucas oil Marine grease into it?
Any suggestions/pics would be appreciated! I’m assuming other Bass Cat owners with Power Poles have the same issue since both were factory installed.
