Yes, Often you can tighten the rear straps, after you loosen the front one and tweak the frame some, removed the toter also. You can also use a floor jack to prop it up, and lift the nose slightly.
I changed the one on my CougarFTD once and Ive already had to change the one on my Baycat. With both boats, it was really easy as the bow came up just enough to come up off the roller, when I released tension on the winch strap, allowing me to change it out very easily.
