Glen- Which boat and motor? Yes their job is to minimize blowout. You want the motor to be able to rev up so the prop has to slip some in order to do that. I have run Bravos on my last 3 boats and tried them on others as well. The number of plugs will make a difference between not being able to get on plane or very slow holeshot to tuned to a good Holeshot. I can’t tell much if any difference on where they are placed.
