Owner's Board

Britt Myers – the Final BASS Elite Staff Member

We were going to announce Britt next week after Elton Luce and James Kennedy joined our staff. It appears that Bass Zone jumped a little soon on this one. We are again pleased to add another talented angler to our staff. Britt is a great addition and we now close our book on the 2007 Bass Cat BASS Elite staff. Below is the press release we had planned on releasing next week. BCB January 19, 2007 Bass Cat Press Release: Britt Myers Bass Cat Boats is pleased to announce the addition of Britt Myers to the staff of 2007 BASS Elite anglers. The 32 year old Myers hails from Lake Wylie, SC. He brings many things to the Bass Cat, along with his fresh outlook on products. He is a strong family man with his wife Missy, and children Britt and Carson being at the center of his heart. He should fit well into the BCB Family role. Britt Myers comments: I would first like to thank Bass Cat boats for taking me on board and letting me be part of an Elite group of anglers. Last year was kind of a "quiet" year for me. The Elite Series was everything I thought it would be and more. I was a true "rookie" to professional bass fishing. It really happened so quickly. I qualified, then a few months later, I was fishing against the top 100 bass fishermen in the world. I had to let it all "sink" in. I really gained a huge amount of knowledge & experience my rookie season. I am very excited & ready for the 2007 Elite Series. It is a great Honor to be part of the Bass Cat family. Not only do I get to fish out of an "awesome boat", a boat that has won the JD Powers award "highest customer satisfaction" two years in a row. I also get to be on the same team with the best anglers in the world, like, Marty Stone, John Crews, Mike Iaconelli and a lot of other great anglers. That's why I can't thank Bass Cat enough for the opportunity to be in the Bass Cat family. Rick Pierce comments: “Britt’s fishing ability is underestimated, ‘We think it should be his wrap logo. Just a big Underestimated logo scripted on the side of his hull’. ‘We know he was not happy with his success last season, though we think he had a pretty good start. There is a lot to adjust to in the Elites.’ With him being in the automotive aftermarket field, he from brings a great deal of knowledge of things we have brought to the marine industry. He has supplied the wheels and tires for many of the top tier Elite anglers, going way out west. Things like the 20" or 30" wheels, stereos and bling are his game every day. We got prodded some when we started this, though it he is bringing it past the Bass Cat Family to other anglers. We also know he is a threat to strike at any time. His career has been short, and he has struck in 7 of his 16 starts. That puts him batting at .4375 and in baseball he would be a serious starter. So we do think he is Seriously Underestimated. “ With his ability we are sure it will be appealing. www.gofastlookgood.comHe brings an ability to understand promotions and more than just a being a well rounded angler. “ In two (2) seasons, with one season on the Elites and one season in the Opens, Britt has amassed $44,531.00 in winnings and has definitely outperforming several more seasoned anglers. Britt will be running a wrap design representing his company, CS Motorsports viewable at www.GoFastLookGood.com. The Bass Cat Staff for 2007 Elites will be concluded by the end of January.
