Caracal Center rod storage . BCB question

BCB...Just picked up my Caracal from Brech Marine... and man.. just one awesome looking rig..Question I have is the center rod locker does not have the black piece with holes and bungie chords to put the rod handles in.Did that get missed or was it deemed no longer needed?I upload pics if needed..thanks for the infoMo

Nope, its supposed to be there. They were out of stock as the supplier has been onesy, twosy on the delivery. We apologize as they must have missed going back to install yours, and they may have not in stock yet when yours went through final. They have literally been getting one at a time and they are considering a vendor change. BCB

ok… I will accept that to a degree.. so how do we solve this issue? This component is a key part for allowing that center rod locker to be usable.I do not wish to air this on a public forum.. I just want the part. I am assuming it will screw into pace?please feel free to email or call me directly.Mo

I am surprised they did not catch that during setup and rigging.Dan

Since the production and service area is closed now we are not sure how they will handle this. You need a part and you need would like it now. Let them figure this out and see next week. They will coordinate with the dealership to resolve this and get your contact information from them. Your dealership is the contact to resolve this. As to how, there has been a medical leave in QC/Checkout and the Caracal is newer in production. Odds are the parts shortage situation got overlooked due to a knowledge gap of the staff covering, the holidays and more. Then again they may have just plain messed up! BCB

dan.. yea me too.. it is not a show stopper by any means.. love this boat.. I can put rods in the other rod locker till the part comes in.I have reach out to Scott at Brech Marine..thanks yallMo

Sorry you are having any issue with your new Caracal. It sucks having a brand new boat that someone dropped the ball on, but at least its minor and usable ! Btw, it got by the dealer, too ! Let them deal with it and BCB , theyll resolve easily. Go fishing !
