Caracal – Poles or Talons

I went with the Power Poles on my 2018 Caracal,mostly because Bass Cat had buy one get one deal. I have the 33 gallon tank under seats and 26 in the back. plenty of room for the PP units. Two years no issues.

I am a fan of Power-Poles.  They are easy to work on and they have excellent customer service.  So my vote would be for PP.

Not many Caracal models have the 33 and 26 gallon tanks. That’s an almost purrfect fuel setup. You can keep 5 or 8 in the belly tank and top the back off for use.

 

You do loose the storage and cooler in the seat though. Everything in a boats a compromise, you get something to loose something.

I have a 2015 Caracal with the belly tank and a 26 gallon in the rear. Plenty of room back there for Power Pole pumps.  The only think about the belly tank is that I miss the under seat storage I had on my CougarFTD.
