It depends on the cover style as Aurora made one earlier with a cape design at the rear. Those are made to connect to the roller tabs on the center of the rear cross member of the trailer. The newer, and aligning with other designs, is the one that connects to the engine trim stop holes on the J bracket so the engine. The S hooks connect into those holes and pull opposing directions against each other. The covers must be tight and we have several that have the center upright posts too long and require that the posts be shortened to the right height. We have found that almost every post is too tall for rear and front deck operation and keeps the cover too high to allow the band to cover the rub rail. There is a bit of lift in those bands when towing and they can expose about 3 of the rub rail under tow. Though this is not a concern. Our goal is to build these covers with easy install and no straps for problems in abrasion. The ones that are Sunbrella Supreme are built out of the absolute best material money can purchase for this use. BCB

Not to hijack, but where did that motor toter come from???? I like the looks of that! As far as the cover, on a 150 4stroke Sabre FTD, I hook mine to the main engine support that is bolted to the jack plate. Cant cross the straps, but it does allow you to keep the straps lower. Tighten the heck out of it, I have had no problems pulling my boat covered at 70 mph down the highway. You may have to shorten the poles, I use the short one on the front, set about as high as a fold down seat would be if one was in the front deck. I have a single console boat, so I have the other pole adjusted so my cover is slightly lower than the windshield. Hope this helps.Don
