Guys:I have known Cliff Brown, his wife, and his employees for approximately two years. I really wanted to switch from Triton to Bass Cat, and Cliff Brown made it happen for me. I am not the most trusting guy in the world, and in fact, prior to my Bass Cat at Texas Boat World, I bought all of my boats from one dealer since the early 90s, Sports Center in Perry, Georgia. I trusted Tim Greer and Jack Nash at Sports Center so much that I would pull my boats over 400 miles just to have annual service done. No one turned a wrench on my boats or engines but Sports Center. I initially bought Rangers from them and then transitioned to Triton during their first year (1997). They always treated me well and I ordered new boats from them every year or two. When I moved to Temple, Texas, about 1200 miles from Sports Center, I met Cliff and his crew at Texas Boat World.I at one point told Cliff that I was just going to get my new boat from Sports Center, and I thanked him for his time. He said he would do my service and continued to treat me as part of the family. Then came a serious health scare, which I did not initially tell Cliff about, and he continued to treat me with great respect, friendship, and kindness. Texas Boat World continued to treat me as “one of the guys” and never pushed for me to purchase the boat until I was ready. When I finally explained to Cliff my health scare, he was considerate and kind and continue to not push. Well, after establishing a relationship with Cliff and being treated so well, I decided that I was going to get a BassCat, and one was ordered for me. The boat did not come in with exactly the same equipment that I wished, and their still continued to be no pressure to purchase the boat. He sold the boat to another person and then ordered the boat of my dreams with everything exactly as i wished it to be. Customer satisfaction on the sale was 100%. Cliff then broke the engine in with me and even fished with me for part of a day (which led to a trip to the emergency room, but that is another story). Well, you would know that one day I had a water in fuel alarm sound while I was fishing which required me to load the boat and take it to the mechanic (Josh) at Texas Boat world wondering how many days my boat would be in the shop. It took me about 20 minutes to get the boat to the shop, 20 minutes for Josh to fix the problem with me watching so that I would know how to do it the next time, and 20 minutes to get the boat back in the water. Service that I received from Texas Boat World has been the same as the service I received at Sports Center, perfect at 100%. The mechanics at Texas Boat World really know their stuff and guarantee that you are satisfied with their service. I trust Cliff and the Crew at Texas Boat World as much as the crew at Sports Center in Georgia, which is complete trust for both organizations. I am putting my 09 Bass Cat puma FTD up for sale in the next couple of weeks so that I can purchase my new Jaguar, and the purchase will absolutely be through Cliff Brown and his crew at Texas Boat World. He is truly an incredible dealer. You owe it to yourself to call him for any purchase of a bass boat. Well, just like when I open my mouth, I sometimes start typing and just cant seem to stop. I will go ahead and stop here. Corky Darnell
