Chris Beeksma – http://www.getbitguideservice.com/Chequamegon Bay would be hard to beat. Lake Superior is so deep and cold that it takes a shallow bay like Chequamegon to support a viable smallie fishery. There just isnt a lot like it available on Superior. The problem with it is the wind. It can really mess up a day of fishing not to mention get a little scary at times. If youre heading to WI, be sure to check out the Sturgeon Bay area. The Door County peninsula has more bays to fish and with some on both the east and west sides, its easier to find wind protection.Last edited by Macsimus on June 15th, 2014, 11:05 am, edited 1 time in total.
