i belive he is not allowed to get help that is what a pal told me about the upcoming bfl on wheeler. that would be cheating or disonestly in my book. no better info that bad info i dont listen to doc talk but rely on myself win looe goose ege or draw it makes me feel better

Are the BFL Regional rules different than the BFL rules…?? I really see nothing wrong with soliciting information on basic tackle, water clarity or patterns….The only place I have seen where this is not allowed is at the FLW tour level…I may be wrong though….I have been before…once..

From what I can see on the BFL website rules you just cant purchase, barter for information or hire a guide after the priority deadline…for qualifying events. Now the rules may be different for the regional, but I cant find anything on it..

I live about 20 minutes from the lake and fish it quite a bit. Target red clay points, rock, and flats. Rattletraps in sexy shad/chrome & blue cranked 2-3feet under the surface are hot. Weve also been having good luck dragging 7-10″ worms across main channel points. Early in the morning, the topwater bite has been good on large pop-rs and buzzbaits. Lots of guys I fish with have been having 40 fish days lately – almost all largemouth from 1-3lbs with a few bigger fish here and there. Good luck to your buddy. Ben

just spoke to my pal today he just got back from wheeler he had 3 bags over 20 in practice but couldnt manage during play must have over practiced.. asked him again he said he was not allowed help cause i have a friend guide down there i was going to hook him up for free but he didnt want any part of it this was a regional

Fished this morning and saw a few Cats from out of state. I saw someone from Sherms parked at the ramp, but we left before they made it back to the truck. At any rate, it was great to see some on the lake here.
