Most of the hull cleaners contain the same active ingredient as toilet bowl cleaner, and that is oxalic acid. You can use either. A word of caution though. It can affect the paint on your trailer, so it is best to either apply with a sponge or rag as opposed to spraying the hull. Rinse very thoroughly. A good coat of Pro Tec sealant after is a good idea.
