Go to Westernbass.com, go to forums, go to northern board. Ask there and they will hook you up with rooms, guides,baits and anything else you need. Alot of guys on that board live on the lake. Good luck, sounds like fun.

From the looks of the Tour events that went through there last year I think he should pick up a swimbait and cover water. It didnt look like Clear lake has any fish under 7lbs.

SWIMBAITS SWIMBAITS SWIMBAITS, Senkos,jigs,and lipless cranks,the Luckycraft LV500s work well there,typical shad and craw paterns. Did i mention SWIMBAITS! In my opinion Clearlake is the very best big bass pond in the country,the Cal-Delta is a close second. I might be partial to these two being I live in Northern California!
