2018 why are you wasting your time. I would think that the boat should still be under warranty

Not a waste of time if I can avoid losing my boat for a week or so and the 2 hour 90 mile trip to the dealership. It is also not stopping me from fishing but does bug the hell out me.

I would call the factory today if I was you. And I also hope it is something simple.

I would suspect the touchpad being faulty. With the main power shut off, disconnect and reconnect the touchpad to see if it is a bad connection. Will be a large, white connector just behind the touchpad.

If this doesn’t correct it, you may need a replacement on the touchpad. Your dealer should be able to help with that.

The flashing lights is an open circuit. Turning off power to the box and lights, then turning power back on should reset the panel like you have a fresh timer and shouldn’t flash other than every 30 or 60 seconds to time it. Then follow the directions below.

This one may require finding the one that has a light on when you close the lid. A video camera (phone) can manage that pretty easily. Just lay it in the box when you close the lid.

Thank you Kevin and BCB.  I will give both these suggestions a try after work today.  I believe that I know which compartment it is if the an open circuit exists.  The drivers side front storage has never operated very well.  I had EK look at it during the 100 hour service and he tightened it.  Only worked normal for a couple of trip after that.  I will check it first.

Those little switches can be prone to the stem bending when they are set out some and the stem binds slightly, then they can bend when trying to activate. They need to be inserted deeper to engage, though have shorter travel. We are thinking you may have figured out what happened, it got loose and the re-tensioning was done extending it further out and now it might have bent the stem. We can and will gladly send a new one.

I am looking for more suggestions.  I tried the phone video in every compartment and resetting the plug to the control panel.  All was operating as normal.  I also disconnected the switch in question.  The switch is bad (sticks in the on or off position) but the lights continued to flash even when it was disconnected.  While disconnected I reset the breaker several times.  I am wondering if it needs to complete a circuit to resolve the problem.  I did discover a couple things.  First is the switch at the bow is intermittent….I had to rock it back and forth a couple of times to get the nav lights and the front trim switches to work.  Also in the back the LED bar for the lighting was falling down on one side.  The end of the bar had separated and released from the screw. What should I try next BCB?

The issue could be a touch pad, though not very often. Usually we would cycle the switches manually, check the box like mentioned and the issue is easily found. Each box could be checked individually by unplugging the switch.

If you can’t find it we would visit EK.

Did you try turning off the main power breaker at the battery, than disconnection the Touchpad? Reconnect it after a few seconds.

I’m not sure of the exact wiring of the Nav lights (Bow-Touchpad), but the bow switch and others being intermittent could point back at the  Touchpad.

Also with the main battery/breaker switch in the on position, try turning on the main power switch. I know its not required for the locker lights to work, but if they stop blinking, it could be the circuit/timer that makes them blink after a locker has been opened for some time.

The LED bar your referencing, bilge? Trailer?

BCB, I will disconnect each light switch today to see if I can isolate a bad switch.  Is there any way for me to verify that it would be a bad panel?  I have unplugged both plugs from the back and turned power off at the breaker and left it that way for about 30 seconds before hooking it back up.  I also thought that maybe the alarm was the problem so I armed and disarmed the alarm.  It worked as advertised.

Cajunhunter….I have tried everything that you have suggested with no luck.  The LED light bar that has fell is in the bilge.

 

I hate electrical demons….lol
