Console button panel failing. 2004 Cougar FTDThe horn button just barely makes the horn make a very faint noise, and the bilge pump button doesnt turn the pumps on. Bad ground? I saw in another post that there was a certain year model, 2004 I think that had trouble w/ the pads going out. So yours might be one.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

No particularvyear had trouble, just todays are more reliable.

Actually the button pad was fine. It was just the wires failing at the barrier strip on the inside of the transom. I had forgotten I fixed a problem there before a couple years ago.
