Yes they are. It should have a few bolts under it(rod box) and on the side, easy to undo. Then there is an epoxy/windshield glue that is holding it on. You cut it away, but you must go slow doing this or you will mess up. You will be left with bolt holes and some light scuff marks on the outside wall where the console touches. The scuffs are easy to remove with rubbing compound. As for the bolt holes on the rod box you can get some rubber step and put over it. Like BCB uses on the rod pads or steps on the back of the boat. When BCB did mine they used screws with the black plastic caps to cover the bolt holes on the side wall. I know I have seen some plastic caps at Lowes in the screw and bolt section that would go in flush. Depends on your color boat with what you want to do. I have seen guys leave the holes alone and looks good with nothing. Mine is black so I can hide mine easy. IT CAN BE DONE, TAKE YOUR TIME AND GO SLOW!
