I had one on my Fortrex. They just look cool, and that’s it. If you want to put money into functional items for your troller, spend it on a Troll Tamer and/or Quick Slip instead.

They work well, especially when the pedal gets wet. Very tight closed cell foam, solid feel and not spongy.Definitely improves traction. Hold up great, Ive had the same one on my Minn Kota for 10 years with virtually no wear showing.

I have one on my Caracal. I think its mostly for looks. Its been on there for 2 years, seems to be holding up quite well. In my opinion, its probably not worth having. I guess if you fish barefoot, it would be better than putting your bare foot on the metal of the trolling motor pedal.

We have one on our MK Maxxum 80 that still looks pretty good. Blue color. It seems to help in various conditions.I wouldnt hesitate to get another one

I had one on my sabre and just put one on my cougar. I think the biggest thing for me it just looks better. Seems to help some in the rain and they hold up really well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

It is one of the first things I buy. It does help in the summer as I fish bare foot most of the time…at least until the carpet gets too hot. They hold up well too.
