2010 puma ftd. Dual axle trailer with brakes on the rear axle.Lets say I live at a location that is about 1/4 mile to a small private ramp, so thats the only place I would tow the boat to except occasionaly to the gas station about 2 miles down the road and mechanic is there also. So no highway travelWould it make since, and be ok, to remove the back wheels for tighter turning or backing down ramp a little further? Of course if I did ever go highway I would put the rear wheels back on.
I wouldnt. As the axle would most likely drag at some point or other. Whether it be a low/high spot in the road, etc…Plus it cant be good for the springs for the axle to just be hanging there all the time.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
