CS at Interstate
Thumbs up to CS at Interstate. Last week, one of my two 15 month old deep cycle batteries started to die as a result of what turned out to be one bad cell. Just out of warranty, I was rather disappointed, and sent an email to that effect to their CS department first thing this morning. I also mentioned that the longest lasting set of deep cycles I ever had were a previous set of Interstates. An hour later I received an apologetic note back, and, from a woman who also knew that it is always best to replace both batteries in a 24 volt system. Two hours later, I was out the door of the distribution centre here in Toronto with two brand new batteries at what worked out to be 17% of retail price. I was more than pleased with that, and wanted to share this experience of what I consider to be very good CS. Just as an aside, I initially was convinced that the issue was my Noco charger, also 15 months old. Two days ago, I contacted them first, and, although the manager there strongly but politely suggested that the problem was a battery, he made arrangements for a warranty replacement of the charger anyhow. So he turned out to be right, all my LEDs are green again on the original charger, and a shout out to Noco as well for offering me a replacement anyhow. Two positive experiences with customer service at two companies. If you think I will continue to use their products, you can bet on that.
