What is the purpose for the lip on the rear end of the boat that they have on the older models? Notice how it turns down some... Was it designed for more lift/better handling? It just puzzles me. lol. Dan Yonan. ---------------------------------------------------------
Ive noticed this on my 92 Sabre and just assumed the same thing you are as far as it being for better lift. Whatever the reason you can be assured that BCBs researched it and had a darn good reason for it. I will tell you this, my Skeeter didnt have it and it porpoised like a b!tch. My Jaguar has it and it rides smooth and flat. Does that give you a clue what it is for? JohnnyLast edited by TXUex on April 28th, 2009, 4:18 am, edited 1 time in total.
Guys if you look at the NEW Cats, not much has changed on the lip, you all seem to be right in my opinion, it must work like a Trim Tab????? Youngblood Im copying your colors for a 2010 boat im ordering…..BrannonYour Signature …
