Deck width

Good afternoon, i just got out of  2006 pantera classic because of the narrow deck up front. I may be in the market for another used cat if i can find something that is wider up front so i dont feel like im going to fall in the water when i reach for a rod. Any suggestions?

Find a used Caracal, from 2019 or up

The Caracal would be 2015 and newer.

If you like that 19 foot, 200 rated class, find a 2018 or newer Classic.  It was redesigned in 2018 with a wide beam carried forward making the front deck large.

I made the move from  a 2007 Classic to a 2020 Caracal now called a SP.  Love the wide deck and the deck layout.  Especially the center left rod locker for easy access when you already have rods on the deck.  For a pretty big boat it handles well but doesn’t have the rocket hole shot our Classics had with a 200 on the back and a 25 or 26P Fury 3 blade.  Still gets up plenty fast when you learn how to launch it.  The new classic has a wider deck but is not in the premium line like the Caracal’s (pre and post STS models).  I’m glad I went with a used Caracl instead.
