drilling into Caracal SP Rod Locker Lids

Hi, I want to set up my Caracal CP with a Table Rock Blacklight with a YakAttack Track and RAM Track. I would need to install the tracks on the rod locker lids. Is this a wise thing to do? If yes, what steps do I take to ensure the rod lockers remain leak free? Is there a better solution for setting up my Caracal with a Table Rock Black light?

The only safe place to drill for under-lid attachment are the braces which stand off the actual lid. Otherwise you’ll have holes through the lid.

Right, but I’m talking about above the lid ram mount. (Now that I have more information.)

There may be a better mounting place that the rod locker lid,

BTW, I will want one of your Caracal cupholder -> step product.
