Sam, I completely understand, now think about it being one of your best friends….. Now I will say I was in a panic cause he stayed underwater for a whole 5 seconds, usually people pop right up, not him. Once I knew he was ok I laughed all day, and then twice as hard when we watched it 100 times. JR

Thats a great shot we might see some money in your future we big boys go deep when we hit the water haha and didnt lose the rod clumsy and talented at that same time

Two kinds of fishermen. Those who have fallen out of the boat and those who are going to fall out. You can put me in the first group. Me and my dad were going in late one evening and they started schooling right beside the boat. I cut the big engine, jumped up on the front deck, lowered the TM, leaned back on my butt seat to make a cast and the butt seat spun sending me right out the back side of the boat. My dad has told me countless times that I was going to fall in and it finally happened. Nothing left to do but crawl back in and keep going. Never did catch any of those schooling fish either.

I think the fish decided there was too much going on in the area to keep schooling. I was still pretty young back then and just scooted back onto the front deck. He did say “I told you so”.

Nope, Ive never went in the drink…three times…Once on Lake Fork in March (cold!) when my TM found a stump I did not see.Once on Grand Lake when I went in after a rod I dropped (fell in trying to grab it before it sank). Was raining and 50 degrees that day. Once earlier this year during a tournament (also raining). Was pulling the TM rope and stepped on the nose of my Sabre. Next thing I know, Im outside looking in…
