Yes, the area out of town was directly hit and suffered one fatality. We saw the post yesterday and of course the factory was closed so information on our staff is limited still. From what we know now, no one was directly impacted more than trees and debris. Some homes in MH area did have trees on them and roof or structure damaged.
Again, from what we know now, the staff is all fine and the Marina we used for Owners Invitational this year is fine. Panther Bay Marina took a hit that rolled one of their docks, and many smaller private docks were impacted. Lose mooring tie downs, anchors and docks flipped over from the winds.
The Briarcliff and Norfork areas took it very hard and several structures were demolished. Traffic in that area was limited as they searched and recovered people. 17 people sought hospital care, plus the fatality. It could have been a lot worse.
