Eyra owners prop on the 300 ProXS??

Just bought a 2021 Eyra with a 300 ProXS. It has a 27P 4 blade Bravo 1 on it. I feel like that may be a little too much prop. It’s very slow out of the hole. Maybe that’s just the way it runs but what are others running?

What top speed are you currently running as 27” on the 6200rpm limiter is 84mph at 7.5% slip? 85mph I thought was the limits of the TM gear case, so sounds about right. I’d think the 300Pro XS should run 1” pitch taller prop than the 250Pro XS as it’s not making 10% over advertised like the 250 or as much power as the 300R. What are the rpms rising to out of the hole when you go WOT?

I’m not sure out of the hole. It’s very low. Yesterday I fished a tournament so I had 2 people and our gear. It barely planed off and after we caught some fish and added water to the livewell it wouldn’t plane off. My partner had to get on the front deck. That was with the jackplate all the way down.

We deliver most with 25” Fury propellers and some go with Bravo in 25” or 26”. We think a 27” is too much wheel and you can pull PVS plugs to vent it more. If it has a hydraulic plate, raising the plate will increase venting and lower it back down for performance.

2022 eyra, 300 pro xs with a 3 blade 25 fury, atlas hydraulic jack plate, 2 10 ft power poles, 4 lithium batteries, 1 AGM cranking battery, live well full, tournament loaded with 2 heavier guys one at 245 pounds and the other around 225 pounds I am getting around 74 mph top speed.  Pretty good hole shot.  When I’m by myself and lightly loaded I can run her up to around 73 mph and the chine walk becomes ridiculous where I end up trimming down and maintaining a comfortable speed of 71 mph.
