Eyra Ride

Can anyone comment on the ride of the new Eyra compared to the cougar and puma hulls. Im in a very rough water setting here at Lake of the Ozarks.

I have had all 3 models. If you would like to ride in my new Eyra, I am at the 35.5 MM. My boat has the best hole shot of any I have every driven or been in. The ride is a bit different but no problem at all in the rough Lake O. It cuts the wakes nicely and lands very softly when you hit a big one. You would be pleased with the Eyra or with either of the other two. Mr. Rick pointed out to me that the Eyra is a “different animal.” And it is. One sweet ride.

Ive had my Eyra on Bull Shoals, Dardanelle, and Guntersville when the wind was blowing well over 30 + mph and was blowing down the lake for miles. It handle each situation great!! I was very impressed.

Its a great ride on Toledo and Rayburn, I think its just as well as my Cougar or Puma.

The Eyra is a very special boat that offers many great things like BassCats other premium boats. For me I like how nimble the Eyra is. Its like a seadoo, rides like a caddy and has hole shot and wot engineering that always leaves you with a smile behind the wheel. Are you all saying these boats will get on top of 3-4 ftrs and ride on top of them, im just wandering ,not stirring a pot at all. Im just curious , very impressed with the speed from the factory out of the box though.

FTD, I dont think so. I was running a 21XD w/16 1/2″ jackplate which made my 21 10″ boat really long and its the only boat that I have seen that could run 55-60 in legitimate 3-3 1/2 footers on the top, if you had the nadds . I havent got my Puma to do that yet and dont think it will do to the weight and length but its a way better boat for what I do.

My boat got on top and stayed on top at 23mph in 3-4 footers on Rayburn. I cant imagine why you would want to go 50mph in conditions like that. Your just going to tear stuff regardless of what brand boat ur in. But more power to you, Ill see ya when I get there. LOL

How does one measure legit 3.5 or 4 footers when youre zipping along on top of them WOT?
