Eyra vs Cougar ftd

when I had me Eyra, man it was fun.. I like the additional texture.. cosmetic things that the Eyra over the Cougar.. like the air intakes on the side, etc.. I had 250 SHO.. and my Eyra would flat out get it.. and I have yet to be in a cougar… Both are premium models… with similar length and width.. Console is the same and space under neath it is about the same.. basically your personal choice on how you want your storage laid outI think they have similar bow lift when running, both fish very stable, and I think the Eyra has more room for your TM pedal.Other than that… they are similar in a lot of ways

Ive just seen them, Eyras, in the water, but owned a early Cougar FTD, a 2003, and the one big difference to me is the fact that the Eyra sits lower in the water than the Cougar or Puma. I would guess that the bow lift would be proportional to the size of the boat…meaning about the same, but corning on the Eyra my guess would be some what sharper!! For me the Cougars / Puma FTD are about the best ones out there insofar as bassboats are concerned, of any of um. IMO.

Those who know the difference run the Eyra. Apparently theres something to the center of gravity and attitude .
