Falcon Lake Unbelievable!!!!!!

The elite pros have weighed in some unbelievable weights so far. Aaron Martins is leading with a 42lb sack anchored by a 13-2lb monster. Many if not all the weight records may fall this week. Many of the BCB pros are doing well: Ike 6th 34-11lbs, Marty Stone 20th 29-10lbs Kevin Short 31st 27-1 Koto Kiriyama 37th 26lbs. 20lbs is in 80th place!!!!! Welcome to Texas boys. There is no doubt in my mind that Texas has the best bass fishing in the US and Falcon may be the best lake in the country.

This looks even better than amistad but theyre still gonna catch giants newhere in texas. I dont think aaron martens will keep the lead because on a lake where theres that many big fish nething can happen. Im kinda keepin an eye on mark davis but if theres ne bcb pros in the top im gonna hav to pull 4 them lol.

As much as i will pull for ike being the top for bcb,I will predict Davis.I beleive Byron and Aaron are gonna run out of fish and everybody knows that when Mark aint talking much you better lookout.He is very well known for being sold nomatter how many days they fish,Just my opinion.

is my opinion also from what I have been hearing, reading and now seeing. Another 40 pound bag today by Velvick. He and Aron are starting to edge away from the pack. Looks like if you do not catch atleast one 40 pound sack you can win this thing. Ike catches 2 darn good stringers and is 13 pounds behind. But on that lake, a 13 pound fish can happen on any cast. Is going to be very interesting the next couple days. Joey

The record will fall. Glad to see Ike in the Top 5, great start compared to his early starts. Cut on day 3 for top 50 will be around 75 lbs. We could see all the top 12 with 100 lbs. This lake has some toads and they are on the post spawn bite. Also glad to see some other Texans doing well. Gary Klein, Tak, K. Jordan Hookem

I was fortunate enough last year to be able to fish both Falcon and Amistad and while they are both AWESOME fisheries Amistad isnt what Falcon is right now. Maybe 4 years ago before all the pressure. Falcon is just far enough away from everything it might not get that same pressure…time will tell there. It is great for the towns and surrounding businesses but I sure hope the lake can with stand the pressure it is fixing to get. I wouldve told you before last week that Falcon is the best lake in the country right now and I still believe that…unfortunately there are a lot more people who believe that now too I will tell you I have never caught a fish that fights more than the fish down there. I have a friend that is fishing the co side and is having a BLAST…he made the cut so going to be fun seeing how he does tomorrow. Judd Lasiter

Basschaser, have you fished Choke Canyon in the last few years? I have a friend in CC,TX wants me to come fish it with him…..ksaggie
