Fishing question

I dont know if this is the place to ask this or not. If not sorry will try somewhere else. I fish a semi private lake that is extremely clear and sees a stupid amount of pressure from good fishermen. The way ins lately have been rough. Out of 15-25 boats there is usally only about 4-5 fish weighed in. The lake has little to no veggitaion with extremely sharp banks in most coves with very deep water. I have put every thing in my arsenal in front of these fish with no results. Anybody got any suggestions. This lake holds some very good fish with some in double digit range

Brush piles, planted or around piers, deeper waters, older road beds, submerged foundations. Independent small rock piles, very small. All a part of a pressured reservoir or a tough one. The shad will be forage for the most part, and they will be around the shad. BCB

Scale back on your presentations. Throw smaller worms on shake heads, smaller jigs, weightless seinkos and lighter lines.

I had the same problem on a small lake that I fish. I went to my trusty spinning rod and reel and down sized a bunch and slowed way down. I fished drop shots alot and switched to a worm fished wacky style. I started catching more fish than anyone till they caught on. Anything different than what everyone else was fishing really worked for me.

Thanks for the advise. Im going to lake now.See what I can do.I just put 350.00 in a fuel pump. Now I need to catch some money.

Is the bait scattered or is it schooled over the deepest part of the lake? LOZman

I have some arrons magic robo worms. I I have fished them on 3/16 once shakeheads in 3-8 feet of water under docks. I have also used them on drop shot in 15-25 feet of water. The bait fish are scattered on mian lake points. I have spent several nights pulling a dd16 and dd22 in lavender shad and sexy shad. This lake is extermly tough.

Scattered bait, highly pressured, normal lures not working and deep! HMMM! This may sound like heresy but, —- try something unusual like hot pink or bright yellow in a small jig or worm. When everybody is trying the usual unsucessfully——- do something else. If you dont like small, try slow rolling a large spinnerbait along contour holding the bait.. LOZman
