Owner's Board

Florida BCB Owners Regional

Our first Florida Event is in the books. We had a good turn out with hopes of getting much more next year. The weather definitely played a factor this weekend as we didnt see anything near the weights the Kissimmee Chain can produce. Thats fishing! Even with it being slow it was a great event. We got to meet a lot of our fellow BCB enthusiasts and new friendships have definitely been kindled, and thats what it is all about. Good camaraderie, time well spent on the water, and of course blazing as fast as we can to get to the fish in the best looking boats on the water. Special thanks to the SE Regional Sales Rep, Mr. Paul Rossi, for coming out. He helped us with the weigh in and was a pure example of why so many of us choose BassCat. A fine Southern Gentlemen and as always treated all of us owners as family. It was great meeting him and working with him getting this years event together. Rob at Aqua Tech Marine brought a brand new Margay for the display and the banners. He also ran around on the water in his brand new demo Caracal. That is one sweet boat. Rob went out of his way to support this event. He made sure the pay outs were good and we had plenty of goodies to go along. All of our conversations along with his support of this event really proves he wants to take care of his customers first. After the final day weigh in he went around to the boaters with questions about their electronics and made sure they understood everything before he left. At one point in the tournament, one of our boaters needed a pedestal for their seat (I think theirs may have still been in the garage that morning). Without skipping a beat, Rob had Nick pull one off the Margay and let the boater use it. Mark at Big Toho Marina made sure we had the scales and all the amenities needed to have a smooth running tournament. He event treated all of our competitors with breakfast on day two! Finally, thanks to Rick and BassCat overall. These events are a blast, and I can say that running one in California, and now Florida, the BassCat Family is truly nation wide. Full of great people with a common passion for fast boats and big fish. Were looking forward to next years event. See the pictures for final results, and the beautiful 11.16# lunker brought in by our winning team of Eddie Rivera and Pete Saraf. Great job to everybody! Please for all of you who made it out, send me your likes and dislikes. We will do what we can to accommodate as this event is for all of us. - Chaz
