front drain holes

2017 Cougar AE. The boat has 2 drain holes in the front to drain out water from the area that holds the trolling motor foot pedal. I know that the front drain hole has a hose attached to it that should be aimed at the center of the boat so that it runs back to the bilge of the boat. The rear drain hole has an end on it, no hose on it and is just going straight down. Should that one also have a hose on it, and if so does anyone know what size hose that I need to attach to it. The plastic fitting appears to have "grabbers" on it to hold whatever I put on it. First time I had water in any compartment since I owned the boat, the front hose was aimed towards the passenger side rod locker, already corrected that, just wondering if this other one had a hose on it that came off and went down into the boat. Thanks for the help in advance.

FYI, so on a cougar there are 2 drain plugs in the front area. The furthest forward has a hose on it, the one at the rear does not, at least on mine it did not. 3/4 inch inside diameter hose works here, I put an adapter to join the extra piece that I cut to the existing hose and shoved it down into the keel. Put a hose and shoved it into the keel on the rear drain as well. Hopefully, this will keep that water going towards the rear of the boat instead of a locker in a downpour.
