front roller modification

I recall seeing a modification someone had made to the front upper roller to keep the v of the boat out of the seam and contacting the metal post there. Had this happen with my 02 jaguar. I am trying to avoid with my new Puma. Does anyone recall and possibly have the link?? Thanx.
