front trim buttons,

hey guys love bass cat boats. think they are the best out there, but have any of you guys found that, the trim buttons give trouble with your foot at all. i seam to be always steping on them all the time and the light switch at the fround, what do u guys find,

You get over that as time passes, I cant tell you the last time I stepped on mine. It is actually in the perfect position if you get in shallow water and need to trim your engine up. I like them where they are but wont try to tell you that it doesnt take some getting used to. Judd Lasiter

havent been in mine all that long, and after reading your post i think this past weekend was the first time i didnt step on it on accident, the trim buttons, but did hit that light switch.

I usually end up turning on the nav lights more then hitting the trim.

When my wife seems to be falling asleep in the back, a quick tap on the up switch seems to get her attention.

Cant keep my feet off the switches either. Im going to disconnect the light and acc. switch. Ill have to leave the trim connected. Glynn

That switch drives me crazy! At least I can hear it though, my partner doesnt and is always trimming the motor. This is not a BCB specific issue either. I have another buddy with a non BCB bay boat (against my lobbying of course) and hes always standing on his too. Like Porkchop, I had the same issue for a bit. Always hitting them here and there. After awhile you get used to it and I cant remember the last time I have hit mine now. Yes…and I agree it can be a minor annoyance. During the day I often dont realize that Ive tripped the light switch, but I doubt if it causes any drain to the battery or any real problem. I suspect those switches are by design easy to activate by foot, but perhaps just a bit too easy!

Same here first season in my PII I was constantly stepping on the trim buttons, now it more normal not too.
