Fuel Line Kit ?

2001 Classic 200 efi. There is a connection on the original fuel line before it goes in to the motor hood. Do I just need to run it to there or should I replace all the way in to the motor? It is a different type of hose from connection to motor than hose from tank to connection.

All the way to the pump on the engine.

Run it all in one piece from boat tank or selector valve to the fuel pump or filter inside the motor cowl.
