Fuel Line replacement

The lines fom BCB are all A1 or A2 ethanol resistant and have been for over 20 years. The grey Mercury fuel line should be replaced and those have been available less than five years.

Thanks I was dreading having to pull the seats and seat pan to get to the fuel line.

As a side note, not all boat brands have A1 or A2 fuel lines that are ethanol resistant. Many older boats of other bands should have fuel lines changed starting from the vent hoses, to fuel lines and fill hose. Everything that is not A1 or A2 should be upgraded. B1 and B2 are acceptable though have a shorter life span.

It simple, just look at your line and it will either be a B1 or not.

So on my 2005 yammy I should see blue writing? If not, change them…..right.

No, Yamaha is different and usually those lines were from BCB and should be labeled as A1 or A2. Engine lines themselves are probably non ethanol from that period though a dealership would best answer that.
