I was adding additive to my tank to day and before it registered as was dumping the bottle the cardboard cap went into the tank. Is there a screen in the tank for the fuel pickup?
Oops! Yes that could lodge itself on the pickup tube, with or without the screen. And it does have one. If you were really lucky you could stab it with a probe through the fuel fill spout.
This sounds like this could be fun. I replaced the pickup tube in one of my rear tanks awhile back and, it is a PITA. Good luck, I would reccomend just keep on keeping on until it gives you a problem.
