Drain the left tank and start over. Do not take the chance way to much money hanging on the transom of that boat to gamble.Do not put an additional inline filter on it as it already has a water/fuel separator under the cowling and you could reduce flow to the point it wont run properly. We would put an additive in it, and doubt you have gotten that much moisture in that tank. Though run on that tank, and see what develops in the fuel filter. The filter will beep if you have virtually any moisture in it.You can drain the top off, and check the tank for water. That is what has been suggested, though having experience with this many times, we think it is overkill.Todays engines have protection against this, if you did get too much H2O in there. BCB

If you can get a sample off the bottom of the tank it will tell you whether or not you have water in the tank. Water is heavier than gas and settles to the bottom. Catch that sample and then put good gas on top of the sample. If there is an interphase then you have water in the gas. Otherwise, as Bass Cat stated use an additive and go on about your business. Good luck with your potential problem, but I too doubt you have a problem.

As I stated before, you should be OK. Just check for water and addd some additive if necessary. LOL Actually, BCB and Phil are probably correct and all is just fine. I am just a worry wart and as anal as heck about these kinds of things.

That is a part of our decision. If you had known you put water in there, you would have not worried about it, or ran it till it beeped.Most who are so concerned with such an issue, are often, as you put it, Anal. We figured you were anal, and did not probably run that much in rough seas. Thus the chanes of an error are slim. If you really thought there was a problem, and were concerned with fixing it, you would have already done so.BCB

Only by pumping or siphoning out through the pick up or fill cap.

We are not sure why you want to drain it, though a siphon hose should do it through the pick up tube. It will not on the 2009 and later versions. You can use an electric fuel transfer pump or a hand pump also. A siphon hose stuck into the tank fill cap will work also and remove most of the fuel. If water is a concern, then we suggest you drain it and go through the sending unit area to remove the remainder. It should trap in the center sump area, and pull the water out there.

BCB This is my first boat since the ethanol thing Didnt think I should store it with ethanol gas in it. If I am thinking wrong please let me know. I thought there might be a screen in the filler neck of the tank ?

How long are you putting it up for ? If not for to long I would top ( I hear leaving a tank empty it is bad for the plastic) my tanks off with 93 octane gas because of the longer fuel sits up the octanes will drop, then treat the gas with Sta-bil ethanol treater , then treat the gas again before use. If the boat is only going to sit for the winter months, just add Marine Stabil, top off the tanks and forget about it. I did that for years when I lived in Indiana and in that state, fuel with ethanol has been all you could buy for years and years. I never had any issues with any of my boats. Ive done that with boats with carbed engines, EFIs and DFIs.

We suggest Sea Foam, though others use Quikleen and other formulas. The storage in Arkansas is only a couple of months, so we dont think you have much to be concerned about. There is no screen in the neck also. You will be breaking that rig out of storage in February for the early bite. BCB

I use it all of the time in every tank of gas.
