Fuel tank Issue

2017 Bass Cat Caracal – I am having problems when I try switching from my main fuel tank to my reserve tank. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or missing a step.  Here is what I’ve been doing.  I rotate the knob in the back of the boat from the left tank (main tank) to the right tank (Reserve tank), and press button on dash to the right tank. The engine will run until the fuel from main tank is out of the system and then shuts off. No fuel coming from left tank.

When I switch back to main tank the engine will start once fuel gets back into the system. Any feedback will be very much appreciated.

Sounds like the hat on the valve could have been removed and placed on 180 degrees off. Try to rotate it to that level and see if the fuel line primes.

If so, then we doubt it was that day from the factory as long as this boat has been in operation.

The other item to check is the anti siphon check ball in the pickup tube. Sometimes those will stick and the anti siphon lock.
