Garmin Trolling Motor

I have a 52″ Minn Kota on a Lynx and the shaft length works very well in rough water and still stows well in the boat. I do fish Northern Lk Champlain quite a bit.

I’m having a hard time deciding on the Garmin Echo Map etc. Do you have any suggestions on those?

I was looking into the 106 or the 126sv for a larger screen that will work together one with transducer and one without a transducer since that could hookup with the trolling motor.
The rest of the boat I have figured out on the build sheet.

I have a Garmin Force on my Jag. It is a 57 inch. If you fish any open water get the 57. I had the 50 at first and it measures more like a 45 MK. You will be disappointed in the 50 on a lynx.

We have consumers running both and it depends on the amount of big water you’re going to see. If your ever planning on fishing open water, then go longer.

I currently own a Cougar AE with a 50″ force on it.  On the front I have 2 Garmin Ultra 106, and on the dash I have a 126.  All 3 are on bass boat technology mounts.  Quite honestly, if you have the room in the front, especially if you are running panoptics and using 2 units  on the front, I would opt for 2 126s on the front and then whatever you desire on the dash.  Make sure that you use the better transducer on the rear, I have a GT 8 glassed in for conventional while running down the lake and mounted on the jack plate I have a GT 36 UHD in a saver.  If you don’t care about losing bottom when your up and running then you could go with a GT 56 UHD.  Either of these 2  allow side scanning at 455/800/1000 khz.
