More than likely the vents beside the splashwell for the saddle tanks,,,,,i think impossible for the tank selector knob to leak fuel into the well. BUT, ive been wrong before ! But usually due to expansion of the fuel in the tanks, and/or parking on an incline, D.

I would agree w/ Doug.One thing that will help is do not pack your saddle tanks full. I will fill up on the way to the lake instead of the way home so then you burn some off as the day goes.Not a big deal it is just the fuel expanding as it heats and cools.Judd Lasiter

It is probably the expansion and sloshing of those vents doing their job. There is no way the fuel can rise up into the valve stem. It could be back drain from the engine, though unlikely. Odds are either the vent mentioned, which is from the main tank under the seat. Or the fuel fill & vent combos located on each side of that splash well. Topping off the tanks does increase the issues, as do excessive temperatures and expansion. BCB

Check the seals on all the hardware, on top of all the tanks! When I picked up my 2008 Puma, it also had the same problem! It was found that a seal on the top of the main center tank, under the seats, was installed incorrectly and was leaking gas into the bilge! I would not run the boat, or charge the batterries until you have solved the issue. Extremely dangerous with the batteries back there. Also when you have identified the problem and fix it, flush the bilge with fresh water. If you didnt know, under the center seat or console, there is a access panel to the main tank. The fiberglass cover that the seats mount to, is also removable by way of a little effort and a few screws. If you need any help, contact me at: Jewalston@aol.com and I will be glad to help you! Jewalston, He said transom well, meaning splashwell i think, not bilge, which would be a different situation. Good input though, and advice on possible hazard, D.
