Gel Coat

Dear Basscat Boats, I would like to know what chemical do you mix with the gel coat to make it harden? Also what is the reccomended mix formula ratio? Where can I purchase the chemical? Thank you, Dan

I have heard of guys using Clear Fingernail polish to fix small blemishes…Never tried it myself…

Super glue is like water and it will wick via capillary action deep into the crack and not leave a buildup.

Ive seen superglue tried and it looked like superglue was tried. But it was on Malibu red(from an identical mechanism) and not charcoal which will hide things the better than anything else.Last edited by clownshoes on June 11th, 2013, 1:13 am, edited 1 time in total.C.O.D. Jr. III
