GPS speeds

Tossing around buying a new boat. I have and older Bullet. It’s honest GPS speed 82 mph Before I consider basscat for sure I need to know how fast they are. I road in a pantera with a 200 and it GPS 69. The bigger boat. The puma and the other couple models that have the 250hp motors can someone tell me what the fastest model is and what speeds they are getting. Thanks in advance. Just researching before I spend the money.

The speeds range from upper mid 70’s into lower 80’s with four stroke engines today. Two strokes had just a smidge more average top end.

I have a 2019 Cougar with a 250 Merc 4 on it, 25″ fury. Tip top speed with perfect condition 81.9 but rarely hit the 81 mark. Consistently hit 79.7 thru 79.9. Very nice ride. Also have the 112 Ultrex and Power Poles. I think the troller slows it a bit.
