Well if bcb dont do it I will perform the work myself! If I do a weld on Im sure bcb will sell the color match gator hyde. I was curious did u use the straight pole or curved pole. I like the curved one better.seems to bring it in a little closer. Also did u add the small step on the winch stand?2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
I used the curved pole. The straight is what is show on the web site but I asked for the curved as that is the way to go. I did use the small stand that mounts above the winch. The pole and trailer colors matched up perfectly. They will ask for your boat hull number and they can tell what came with your trailer. If you have the large step that is already mounted to the trailer it will reduce the cost.
Yes I already have the step. In fact the guy I bought the boat from gave me a new one due to the scratches due to it rubbing. It not been hit or I dnt think it has. Not a scratch no where except on top where it rubs. From wat Ive seen it would take a pretty good hit to move it due to the layout of the brackets. But anyhow I was actually asking about the little step between the frame of trailor and the winch2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
Yes in bcb store!
I added one to my 2010 Puma Trailer and I only had the step. Here is a link – http://www.basscatstore.com/trailerstepwithpole.aspx
Im pretty sure it will be the curved pole as well.

Thats my question as well . I realize that I can purchase the grab pole from the parts department . But how does the pole attach to the trailer as a aftermarket part also there is what appears to be a step on top of the trailer winch how does that attach ?
It is a bolt on part that straddles the tongue tubing and uses two 1/2” bolts. Drilling the tongue is the hardest part as you need a good drill and bits. Today’s bits are often not the best and most people have gone to battery drills that are not the strongest either.
I had Sherm put one the 2009 CougarFTD that I used to have. Its pretty easy to do. However, as BCB said, drilling through that trailer is a major chore. Shem used a pretty high powered electric drill and it took a while. Also be careful drilling through, that you dont hit any wires or brake components inside the trailer tubing.
The add on pole doesnt have the step does it?
Yes, it does have a step. New ones are the curved model and mine took 30 minutes (minimum charge) at my dealer for the bolt-on install. Did not want to weld so I wouldnt have to mess with matching paint. Very awesome pole. Totally secure.
