Are you fishing Chicot tomorrow?

No. we are at Washington tomorrow (Team Trails Winter) and have a make up next saturday at Chicot. We cancelled our January tourney at Chicot twice. I heard there was one there tomorrow though. You in it?

Nope, moved away from that area. IM when you have it at chicot because I curious about what it takes to win.

I did that on my boat once. It didnt drain any noticable juice because nothing else was on except the master switch.An over night charge should be fine. I think you get the most charge the first couple of hours then it tapers off. That was my boat anyways.

I won a club fish off down there with 18 lbs. this fall but the fish were biting pretty good. They have had the lake pulled down since late summer but were supposed to put it back up to normal pool starting january 1. I havent seen it since first week in january but I imagine with the weather we are having here a limit would definately win either place. I was shocked at what I saw in the lake with the water low. Spent a whole day riding around with my GPS marking things. These lakes are really messed up right now because of the amount of rain we have had combined with the cold temps. High cold muddy water is a %+@+* to fish no matter where you are.

Yep, yep know all about the drawdown at Chicot. I was the fisheries management biologist for SE AR before moving to NE to become regional fisheries supervisor. So I help conduct that drawn. It is a foot below normal now, it is filled by rain fall so it take a little bit to come back up. I hate this time of the year there but I love the fall there!!!

I know what you mean!! Man this battery thing is making me nervous. I have a lump in my throat every time I crank this 250 for the first time in the winter. It always starts but it will scare you to death when its cold. It takes a lot more battery to turn this XS over and when its 30-35 outside it really drags the first time I crank it. After that its fine for the rest of the day.

High Cotten. Another thing I have, and I recommend this to everyone, is to get one of those jump start battery chargers. I picked one up at wal-mart for $35. It saved me once on the water after not stating the motor for over 4 hours and running sonars, live wells.It was the end of the day and went to crank motor….er…er..er… Just hooked it up and varoom!Definitely a must have.
