I received my confirmation today that I will be driving a camera boat in the Classic. This will be my 3rd time as a camera boat driver. I have had some great experiences being a camera boat driver for BASS and FLW.The 2008 Classic was great. I was assigned the long time BASS photographer Gerald Crawford. It started out pouring rain and about 36 degrees on day one. Day two was much better and it was wild to see 50+ boats chasing KVD around the lake. We were sent to photograph Alton Jones. We both talked about how he had only two other boats following him. There were more Sunday but not too crazy......that can be a big factor.2012....COLD!!!!! Single digit temps at take off on day one. My boat was frozen to my trailer. I got some great action of winner Casey Ashley and top 10 finisher Iaconelli. We pretty much stayed with Ike days two and three.I have done FLW events on Hartwell and Lanier and it was great to see local guy Casey win and have a front row seat. I also had a front row seat when Jason Christie won. The FLW highlight was seeing Jacob Wheeler win on Lanier.I plan on posting some pictures!!
