Very small hooks so you really need to take it easy when you do get a fish on and I was surprised at how fast the baits sink. I will give them a better test this summer in some of the deeper lakes when things get tough right around late Aug to early sept.Duo Realis is a relatively new player in the U.S. hard bait market and their vertical approach to control all build aspects offers a very high quality lure rivaling or exceeding LC, Jackall and Megabass. They have been accused of bastardizing the high end lure market at their current $12.99 price point. I say let market forces do their work. No copy cat or knock-offs with this company. Pure innovation and at first glance you will see that with their keel/rudder and flat sided signature designs. No matter how aggressive you work the bait it travels true. That has been my observation in my swimming pool. Oh, Already I have caught some nice 3-4 lb spotts with their 100SP jerk bait. For the consumer that is a positive alternative. Also, from my eyes the detail and paint durability is impressive and is second to none. Actually, I got involved in a project Jerkbait field test and have talked with US Rep out in Oregon that evolved into jerkbait nuisances that initially went over my head a bit. Thank goodness I took notes the best I could. After one hour Im left re-thinking jerk bait presentations. Wow!!! Details about shimmy, wobble and linear travel relate to styles and attributes/design to target cover and designs centric to cover open water efficiently (KVD style). My head is still swirling some. At a minimum that one hour chat is very thought provoking. With my interest high their finesse spy baiting technology caught my attention. No field test on my end. Just want to learn more about spy baiting. It is relatively new even for the top pros. Spybaiting is a finesse approach for tournament anglers experiencing heavily pressured fish thats suspended in the water column. Zzzzz, set the hook real or imagined its something new for the anglers to consider. What reports Ive read so far have been positive for smallmouths, spotted bass and largemouth. Pumatim, thanks for sharing. Ill be finding out more real soon myself. Last edited by Flyswatter on February 11th, 2014, 3:29 pm, edited 4 times in total.
