HDS 12 touch

Anybody had the issue of the touch screen not working. Unit comes on but the screen seams to be off 3" or so when you touch. Another words you cant do anything at top or left, you can touch about three inches over from things on the right to get it to work. I tried a soft reset but didnt help. This unit is mounted in console and I was also thinking of trying to cover the cut out with a plate an remount , not much left to screw to so was wondering if the fiberglass would be strong enough to hold? Was thinking metal plate with six small screws , they would be a 1/4 from edge of cut out at most. Thanks

Yes the Structure Scan is built in but does not included the SS transducer. I think that can set you back a couple hundred more.

I played with one at a sport show last month and thought about making the switch, the screens were pretty intuitive and quick. Im running Gen 2 HDS 10 and 8 and 2 Structure Scan boxes, I wouldnt mind losing the 2 LSS boxes and going with a 9 and 12 Touch. The ability to plug a video camera into it is a neat feature, we went out yesterday in my buddys Z-9 and watched his Marcum camera on his Touch 9 screen. The only thing holding me back is Im thinking about going to a Puma FTD from my PIV in Aug or Sep.

mine did the same thing took it back where I purchased and they exchanged but mine was only couple weeks old
