There are settings inside the unit to flip left and right views. you have to access them from the structure scan screen. You should have a option for advanced settings.

I run my lss with the cable to the back. I use a transducer saver spring back mount on my jack plate. I didnt like the cable being in a bind. Though by design they can be used with the cable either to the rear or either to the front. So when you go into the advanced setting. If the flip is highlighted. Your cable should be at the rear. My only concern with the cable to the back is there being enough room for an underwater tree limb getting behind the cable and ripping it out of the $300 transducer. I have done that more than once before I put the effort into making it as close to impossible as I could.
